Samad and Sami, Leyla and Lili

Overview

While the village headman and Mashhadi Bagher want to marry Leyla off to Eynollah, Leyla runs away and, together with Samad, sets out for the city. On the way, they encounter two city youths, Sami and Lili, who bear a striking resemblance to them. Samad and Sami, and Leyla and Lili, exchange clothes and head off to the city and the village in each other’s place…
